This is a publication of the European project “Buildings as Material Banks” (BAMB, 9/2015-2/2019, www.bamb2020.eu) coordinated by Brussels Environment, which received funding from the EU Horizon 2020 research & innovation programme.

werfafvalTrefwoord: BAMB construction économie circulaire ressources conception Samenvatting: Building as Material Banks’ is the wider concept where corresponding business models reside. In its essence, a business model is describing the way ‘how we actually make money’ by defining the value proposition and build up an understanding if the model is economically viable. This is done by providing insights on how we create value, and market and deliver the offerings to the target customers segments, including potential revenues generated.
The material bank on its own will not generate money. We need to understand who owns the material and data (and makes the decision to reuse), who will need this for re-purpose, etc. So, the concept of material banks contains many different business opportunities, that have a value for the different roles in the industry. How to capitalize on this, we first build an understanding what type of mechanisms are to be considered to successfully extract the value out of the BAMB outputs and have a way to assess the value and reuse options to the industry. These mechanisms, or business models, enables the concept of material banks.

ventilatieSamenvatting: Les rapports de l’étude sur l’évolution des installations techniques des bâtiments en Région de Bruxelles-Capitale et des vecteurs énergétiques visent à faire la synthèse des documents et rapports d’étude qui ont pu être consultés via internet en 2022 et applicables à la Région de Bruxelles-Capitale.
Cette note consacrée aux appareils de chauffage électrique « directs », ainsi qu’aux possibilités de stockage d’énergie à l’échelle des bâtiments bruxellois, résume les informations disponibles sur :
a. les principes physiques à la base du chauffage électrique ;
b. les principaux appareils de chauffage et de production d’eau chaude sanitaire électriques « directs », leurs rendements et leurs coûts ;
c. une introduction aux moyens de stocker l’électricité, notamment au niveau des bâtiments bruxellois.

volksgezondheidSamenvatting: Dans le cadre de la sortie des moteurs thermiques en Région de Bruxelles-Capitale (RBC), Bruxelles Environnement a été chargé de mener plusieurs études destinées à évaluer de la mesure. Le présent rapport (ou « info-fiche ») constitue l’étude d’impact sur les émissions du transport. Il a pour but d’évaluer l’impact de la sortie des véhicules thermiques sur les émissions de gaz à effet de serre et polluants atmosphériques. Il évalue également l’impact sur les objectifs régionaux en la matière. Pour ce faire, ce rapport se fonde sur la modélisation de différents scénarios d’évolution de la mobilité et du parc de véhicules d’ici 2030 et 2035.
